<description>Hey Barbara...thanks for your nice note at my website... Yes, with your focus on the "Positive" you and I certainly do share a viewpoint of the world. Your books look wonderful, and I enjoyed the video about it from the girl's point of view. The "Dear Diary" approach looks like a great way for parents to get into the heads of their -sometimes puzzling- young teen daughters. You've put a lot of great work into this - congrats and keep in touch!

<description>I'm thrilled to hear that the book is a success! And why shouldn't it be? It's about time authors such as yourself wrote books about empowering girls and teaching them that they are capable and deserving of happiness and success.

Going to order a copy of your book. I'm looking forward to reading it. I'd love to chat sometime informally about how you view "raising girls" and also about how you found a great publisher for your "positive psychology" series. I am very busy with ParentingPink.com right now, but eventually I would love to publish a book on recovering from teen sexual assault. Yes, I know the topic is grim, but PTSD is my specialty and I have worked with so many young women that have inspired me. I'm sure you have too.
